Manny Pacquiao say's Gay's worse than Animals, Nike say No.

Why oh Why do big sportsmen especially someone as big as Pacquiao get involved in politics ?, he wants to get a senate seat in his native Phillipines so he became very native indeed. Sometimes its no brain for the gain in these places and he chose to go that way.

This is a man who gave away his entire purse for the Mayweather fight. 60 million dollars to the poor. I don't think Nike taking some cash away will bother him. For what it's worth, I don't agree with him, but he is a man of immense generosity who has apologised for his comments, that'll all be forgotten about now though and he will be placed on a par with Hitler. Punishment for not adhering to modern orthodoxy.

I absolutely agree that it should be forgotten now he has apologised, but why get involved in Politics ?, it is a cesspit for anyone with his integrity .
Though he is a very nice man a true human being who is very giving he must have known the ridiculous power his comments have , just imagine how Gay people must feel in the Phillipines now.

Why should it be forgotten? Admitting you're wrong is fair enough but saying sorry that you believe it, isn't the same.

The bloke is a homophobe and states it from his belief in the bible.

He'll have money hungry publicists trying to rescue his 'brand' when in fairness the celebrity mask slipped and has shown his trueself.

If he believes it he should stand by it, rather than try and change his stance to fit whatever social conciosness the world currently has. Which is exactly why religion is a fucking joke in the first place.

For me having a belief that something is wrong is no biggie, it is not nice but it is acceptable, my children cannot accept it so i guess in 50 years if the world survives their will be no hate.

Had Pacquiao said he thought it was something he did not believe in because of his religion then there would be no problem he was ridiculous to call gay people worse than Animals though in many cases Animals are better than humans.
Something tells me that what Manny said in that country is very common to them, and being at home he did exactly as they do, that does not allow him to get away with it but you would have to destroy everyone in religious countries before manny Pacq though his position should have woken him up to his stupid words.
